Rubber Grass MAT playground golf course horse course mat 1mx1.5mx22mm x3 mats

Heavy-Duty Turf Protection for Playgrounds, Golf Courses, and Pathways

Protecting high-traffic turf from erosion, mud accumulation, and heavy wear requires specialized ground reinforcement engineered to withstand rigorous outdoor demands. Measuring 1 metre by 1.5 metres with a robust 22mm thickness profile, this pack of three heavy-duty rubber grass mats provides exceptional surface stability without disrupting natural lawn growth. Grass blades grow directly through the open-mesh structure, allowing you to maintain a lush, natural green appearance while effectively eliminating muddy patches and deep rutting caused by foot traffic, golf buggies, or livestock movement.

When commercial buyers, facility managers, and landscapers across the UK require durable, low-maintenance turf protection solutions, professional-grade supplies are easily accessed through Welcome Step. Manufactured from premium recycled rubber, these mats distribute heavy loads evenly across the subsoil, preventing soil compaction and protecting grass roots even during prolonged wet weather conditions.

Seamless Drainage and Weather-Resistant Lawn Care

Designed for permanent outdoor installation, these 22mm rubber grass mats feature an advanced open-hole drainage network that prevents standing water and ensures rapid surface runoff during heavy rain. The UV-resistant rubber compound withstands extreme temperature fluctuations, frost, and intense sunlight without degrading, cracking, or becoming brittle over time. Furthermore, setup is remarkably straightforward; the mats can be laid directly over existing grass surfaces, secured with plastic fixing pegs, and left in place as the grass grows through. Once established, standard lawn mowers can pass directly over the mats without causing damage, ensuring completely hassle-free seasonal maintenance.
