Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about our products, who we supply, ordering in larger quantities and UK delivery.

01 What does Welcome Step sell?

Welcome Step sells carpets, rugs and runners, wood flooring, rubber flooring and matting, rubber sheeting, and stair nosing and floor safety products. Rubber products cover gym, stable, garage, industrial and vehicle use, including vans, trailers and caravans. Wood flooring and stair nosing are new areas being added to the catalogue.

02 Do you supply homes as well as businesses?

We supply both homes and businesses. Domestic customers buy carpets, rugs, runners and home-gym mats, while business customers include gyms, offices, retail premises, workshops, warehouses, factories, equestrian yards and vehicle operators. Our heavy duty flooring collection groups the rubber products intended for busier commercial and industrial areas.

03 Can I order in bulk for a commercial or trade project?

Yes, you can order larger quantities for commercial or trade projects. Email support@welcomestep.co.uk with the products, quantities and delivery postcode before you order. Large, bulky or custom orders can have different delivery and return requirements from standard items, so ask us to confirm these for your order.

04 How do I know which flooring or mat to buy?

Email support@welcomestep.co.uk with where the flooring or mat will be used, the room or area size, the surface underneath and anything it needs to cope with, such as dropped weights, water, oil or animals. Each product page lists the details for that item, so you can compare options before you buy.

05 Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes, we deliver to addresses throughout the UK, and delivery is free on orders over £100. Large, bulky or specialist items may have different delivery arrangements from standard products. Our shipping policy has the full delivery terms and conditions.

06 What types of rubber sheets do you sell?

We sell neoprene, nitrile, EPDM, SBR, silicone and Viton rubber sheet, along with sponge, foam and cork-bonded sheet products. Each rubber compound suits different conditions, so check the product page for the thickness, sizes and stated properties of that specific sheet. You can compare every compound in rubber sheeting by material.
